Device Permissions

Last updated 18 September 2026 · Operated by PARINUUT FASSHION (I) PRIVATE LIMITED

Daisy Bellee asks for as little from your device as a marketplace can. Every permission below is optional and requested only at the moment you use the feature.

Camera

  • When: only when you tap "Take photo" while adding a listing image or profile picture.
  • Why: to photograph a product or your shop directly instead of choosing from the gallery.
  • If you decline: you can still pick existing photos; nothing else in the app changes.
  • Android permission: CAMERA. iOS: camera usage prompt.

Photos

  • When: only when you tap "Choose from gallery".
  • How: the app uses the system photo picker, which hands over only the images you select. It does not need or request access to your whole library on current Android and iOS versions.

Notifications

  • Not requested in the current version. When push notifications arrive in a later release you will be asked first, and you can say no.

What the app never asks for

  • Location (fine or coarse) — your city / state is typed by you.
  • Contacts, calendar, call log, SMS reading (the sign-in code is typed by you or auto-filled by the operating system).
  • Microphone, Bluetooth, body sensors, background activity or accessibility services.
  • Storage-wide file access.

If you ever see the app request a permission that is not listed here, tell us at info@daisybellee.com — it would be a bug.
